Welcome to the Catholic community of Cranbrook, including Benenden, Staplehurst and the surrounding villages. St Theodore Catholic Church started as a Catholic Mission in the 1920s as Goudhurst Parish with a Mass centre at Benenden. Early in the 1930's Lady Millicent Moore provided an oratory in her home "Little Shepherds" in the High Street.
