About Us

St Theodore’s is the Roman Catholic parish serving Cranbrook, Benenden, Staplehurst and the surrounding villages, within the Archdiocese of Southwark. Parish life is centred on St Theodore’s Church in Cranbrook and the Chapel of Our Lady and St Joseph in Benenden, under the pastoral care of Fr Barry Grant.

The parish is a worshipping community gathered around the sacramental life of the Church, and it aims to be a place of welcome for those who live locally, as well as for visitors.

The parish also expresses its faith through charity and pastoral care. It supports wider works of mercy through recognised Catholic and humanitarian initiatives and it seeks to provide local support for those who are unwell, isolated, or in difficulty through parish welfare and prayer.
