Parish Life

Parish life is centred on Mass on Sundays at St Theodore’s in Cranbrook and Our Lady and St Joseph’s at Benenden, with weekday Masses in the Presbytery. Parishioners are invited to serve as lay readers during the liturgy. The Rosary is prayed each Friday after the 10am Mass, and intentions can be submitted to the Prayer Group for shared prayer.

Tea and coffee after Sunday Masses provides an opportunity for fellowship within the parish community, and the Welfare Group is available to support anyone who needs help or someone to talk to.

The parish supports charitable causes through second collections, including the Catholic Association for Racial Justice, and encourages support for initiatives such as Mary’s Meals.

Parishioners also have an opportunity to participate in practical parish life by helping with church cleaning and flower decoration.
